ALEPH
HACKATHON

22–23 of August

Online & IRL

A global builder ecosystem in one event. A two-day hackathon where teams form, build, and ship real projects. August 22 and 23, 2026.

Argentina has built one of the most active builder ecosystems in Latin America. The Aleph Hackathon channels that energy into a global sprint: chapters in cities across the region bring together developers, designers, and students to ship real projects in two days, all connected to one shared event.

A GLOBAL HACK - MANY CHAPTERS

THE ALEPH
HACKATHON

The Aleph Hackathon in person at chapters worldwide and online. Teams form, build against real challenges, and present their work to a panel of top judges. The best projects win prizes and ecosystem support.

Chapters

Starting in August 2025, the Aleph Hackathon moved beyond a single venue. The last two editions ran simultaneously online and across independent IRL chapters. Local hubs where builders gathered in their own city, connected to the same global network and competing for the same prizes.

Each chapter is organized by local communities. Same challenges, same timeline, same jury. From Buenos Aires to Accra, from Medellín to Ikorodu. Different cities, one shared event.

These are some of the cities and countries where one or more Aleph Hackathon chapters have already taken place.

Frequently asked

Questions

A two-day hackathon hosted by Crecimiento on August 22 and 23, 2026, as part of Aleph Week. It runs online and in person across Latin America. Teams form, build, and demo projects in front of a stellar jury.

The event is free and open to anyone interested in technology, including developers, designers, cryptographers, researchers, engineers, project managers, students, and technology enthusiasts. Beginner? No problem. Our partners are planning a pre-hackathon workshop to help you prepare, and dozens of mentors will be there to support you during the event. There is a space for everyone, no matter the seniority.

August 22 and 23, 2026, online and in person. In person you can hack at Aleph Hub in Buenos Aires or at any of the other physical hubs, called Chapters, across Argentina and Latin America. If you cannot make it in person, everything is covered: online workshops and mentorship for everyone, and DoraHacks for project submission and demo.

Nothing easier. Apply here and wait for your approval email. We accept hackers in batches, so if you do not hear back a few days after applying, no worries: you are probably in the next round.

Up to 4 members per team, and hacking solo is also an option. If you already have a team, every member still needs to submit an individual application.

No. Presenting pre-existing projects is not allowed, and work must officially begin when the hackathon starts. If you plan to use pre-existing code you have to notify us and get approval, otherwise you will be disqualified. There are no exceptions and everything gets checked. Startup features count, but the rule still applies: the code must be written from scratch. Check the full rules and code of conduct before you start, some of them can be decisive for your project.

A week of events in Buenos Aires (August 20–23): the LATAM Digital Assets Conf (August 20–21), the Startup World Cup (August 21) and the Aleph Hackathon (August 22–23). Each event is independent.
